March-a-thon is back for 2024! Mark your calendars for September 28th!
In 2023 Concord High School’s Marching Band and Colorguard Unit earned the
title of “Best Band in the Bay”. They will be marching through Dana Estates in Concord
on Saturday, September 28th as one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We
will be accepting donations as we march. For donations of $100 or more we will
stop and give you a special performance. Not only does it showcase the musical
talents found at Concord High, you will appreciate the energy of this award
winning program.
As you may be aware, the funds allotted to music education is very limited. Your donations
supplement those funds to purchase new music, program shirts for all students
to provide unity within the program, it helps alleviate the expense of bonding
experiences such as band camp and orchestra camp. These funds are also used
to cover the cost of festivals and band reviews that give us feedback on our
growing program.
